PolyDesign was developed by AVBCO, which was established in 1948 and is one of the older window covering manufacturers in the Southeast. We have manufactured synthetic shutters since 1991. AVBCO manufactured wood shutters from 1978 until 1996 when it became apparent to our company that synthetic shutters were a superior alternative to wood products.

With PolyDesign, you do not have to worry about the shutters warping, cracking, chipping or the paint peeling. The shutter will open and close as easily ten years from now as they do the day they are installed. The acrylic paint finish will not yellow and is moisture resistant.

PolyDesign has the largest offering of shutter components compared to any other component supplier. We have attempted to offer a variety of products that will compliment any decorating style. We are continually expanding our product offering to better serve our customers.

PolyDesign offers three different shutter styles in over nine color choices. We have the largest synthetic frame offerings to enable our installers to have a frame to accompany any window style in the market nation-wide. Due to the nature of the synthetic material that our shutters are made from, they insulate two times better than wood shutters.

The PolyDesign are the only shutter manufacturer/component supplier that offers inhouse machinery in the country! Our machines are designed to be fast and efficient therefore giving our fabricators the capability to be very competitive while making the same quality shutter nationwide. Last but not least, PolyDesign has also designed its own in house software! This software is state-of-the art, providing our fabricators with another tool designed for efficiency and quality service!

All PolyDesign product lines are proudly made in the USA, from the extrusions to the finished shutter. We do not import panels from overseas and frame them in America–we produce the entire shutter in the USA. We are proud to be one of the last manufacturers producing 100% American made shutters! This shutter will outlive the competition and is priced to compete!
